Linda Preston, Supervisor
Kevin Young, Treasurer
Renee Meiser, Clerk

I joined the Pokagon Township board as an appointed official in August 2014. This year in August (2016) I will appear on the ballot in a bid to remain Township Clerk.

I have lived in Pokagon Township for 8 ½ years. I have been married for 29 years and have two grown children, a son and a daughter as well as a grandson.

My education includes an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management / Leadership from Bethel College in Mishawaka IN.
Twenty five years of my work experience has been in Accounting- from small local manufacturing companies to a large corporation (Whirlpool).

I enjoy working at Pokagon Township. The scope of the work duties are diverse and interesting and combines areas that I am familiar with: bookkeeping and accounting and has allowed me to learn new skills in managing the elections and voter registrations. It is challenging to keep up with required training and laws that are ever changing in township government. I strive to do my best as Clerk of Pokagon Township by being fiscally responsible and finding ways to improve my vision, especially relative to the township's needs or potential.
