Summer tax payments are due and payable July 1, 2022 through Sept. 14, 2022. Please mail check and tax bill stub to 30683 Peavine St, Dowagiac, MI 49047. Please make checks payable to: Pokagon Township.

Please make sure your check is the correct amount, and is written for the same dollar amount that shows on your tax bill.  Please remember to sign your check before mailing as well, as all of these items will cause a delay of your payment to post due to mailing back to you for correction of your check error(s).  Also please place a current phone number on your check in case there is an issue so we can contact you to resolve said issue.

The Treasurer, Kevin Young, will be available in the township office on Tuesday's from 3:30 to at least 5:30 (during tax season usually longer), unless it is a posted collection date.

If your mortgage company has requested a copy of your tax bill, it has been mailed to them.   You are receiving a copy of the tax bill for your records as required by State requirements.

Additional tax information can be found on Cass County's website under the Property Tax Search click here.

Inquiries about prior year taxes should be directed to the County Treasurer's office at (269) 445-4468.
