Sumnerville Cemetery

Located in the village of Sumnerville. The first known grave of a non-native American was in 1833; Emily Markham, granddaughter of Israel Markham, a Revolutionary War Soldier from Massachusetts.

Grave sites are available. Lots for residents of Pokagon Township are $200; non-residents are $500.
Evergreen Cemetery

Located on Pokagon Highway ½-mile east of M-51 and the village of Pokagon. Burials date back prior to the Civil War. The cemetery is closed to the sale of new grave sites. No new burials.
Dewey Cemetery

Located on Dillman Road between Dewey Rd. and Wilber Hill Road. Burials date back to the Civil War. The cemetery is closed to the sale of new grave sites. No new burials.
